Iron enables the transportation of oxygen in prescription for the cells to breathe. Iron deficiency is very common in women. From puberty to menopause, passing throughout pregnancy and the monthly periods, women have a great need for iron.

Women with iron deficiencies are constantly tired and will often over-eat to get strength, causing a weight problem.

Iron is found in red meat and in many green vegetables, but it is believed that the body assimilates the iron coming from red meat more efficiently.
